Perfectly imperfect WE !!

The beauty of Mumbai

                 7:30 Churchgate fast, 10:38Andheri special, 8:18 CST ….

Might sound like a schedule to any random ‘non mumbaikar’ ,but for  mumbaikar these are the words that matter the most every morning . More than meeting a friend we are more worried about not missing these trains.

              

             Our people & our relations might change, our choices change with the change in market conditions :-P, but yes what won’t change about us is our sevpuriwala uncle and the people we meet every morning in our trains and their groups . We love talking. No matter what part of the world we go but juhu ka gola and marinedrives pein samosa with chai will always remain at the epitome in our list of favourites.

             

              We have gone through a lot together, the blasts that we are almost used to now or our water problems in rain and how can I forget! ,the most common of all our late trains :-P.. But again this is how the world looks at us .. We do a lot more things together. Like celebrating India’s cricket final victory by making entire city a party place that night , We play HOLI more at our friends places then ours.  No matter how bad drivers we are but we do curse others for their bad driving :-P.. We do dance hip hop, typical Bollywood , contemporary or whichever style but our favourite dance was always and will always be the ‘GANPATI ISHTYLE’ .

               

              We do stupid things .. for instance when train arrives the station we greet the motorman by waving at him as if he won’t stop the train if we don’t  :-P… no matter for what reason we are late for our work most of the times we put the blame on our railways :-P… we all are extremely proud of the Bandra-Worli sea link though we know it was built after such a delay in schedule. We talk so much about hygiene but when it comes to street food we forget these values and enjoy .No matter who is sitting beside us in train or in bus we start the conversation talking about the government, cricket or the train .. God we have so much time to spare ..:-P.. And still we are always late ..and specially to mention more than our relatives we treasure our friends and their relatives ..:-P. We hate it when people address our Mumbai as Bombay ..we have weird names for stations which make no sense.. like Bombay Central is not even close to centre of Mumbai. :-P

            

                We are crazy ..we are idiots.. we literally deserve a patent for the human behaviour that we all have .. but this is what we are and this is the reason we are so happy for god knows what reason. No matter how this city is.. no matter what problems we all face all day .. but we love this place.. and hence we say..
